A beautiful site

We stayed here for 3 nights over the early Spring Bank Holiday and loved the site. It is well landscaped with spacious pitches and beautifully looked after. It was a 10 minute walk round the perimeter of the site and through a residential area to the bus stop where you can get a bus directly into the city. We got off at the Botanic Gardens - highly recommended. The site is located above the Cramond promenade and this can be accessed by crossing the road opposite the site entrance and descending a flight of very steep steps, or more sensibly by following the road to the left for a gentler descent. A Parkrun is held here every Saturday at 9:30 on an excellent course, fast and flat. The walk to Cramond, a small village with a pretty harbour and a very old pub, is delightful and takes about half an hour or so. We found the site wardens extremely helpful when we had a problem with our electrics when leaving the site.
