Rowdy site, good location
Chose East Fleet Farm mainly due to the location, and was reassured as it is affiliated with the CMC. We have visited other affiliated sites which were to a very high standard, unfortunately, not East Fleet Farm. A very warm welcome and pack given on arrival, and a spacious, fully serviced pitch. We had no choice of pitch and unfortunately we were very close to the play area, which was mayhem! It's a big play area, so it's a great site for children (we have no children). Some parents were supervising their children, but not all, and children were in there at all hours.
The toilet blocks shown on the photos are the newer, smaller, family bathrooms. For individual WCs and showers the large toilet block is central, adjacent to the play area. It is very dated and with high usage due to the location, it needed cleaning more regularly than it was - it felt grubby most of the time. Showers were the push button type.
The lady of loretto was a nice venue, we stopped for drinks a couple of times during our 3 night stay. I think the site have spent the money on the pub and shop, rather than the other facilities.
The location is excellent. Huge dog walking field next to the site which links to the coastal path offered really good dog walks each day before we headed out. In close proximity to Portland and Weymouth there are lots of places to visit.
Site felt like it needed some attention, the hedges were quite overgrown and I didn't see any grass cutting during our stay.
