Not up to usual standard of any sites we have visited.
We arrived and allocated a pitch right opposite the play area, which is great if you have children with you however we are a couple looking for something a bit quieter after the school holidays. We did manage to move to a better pitch. On visiting the toilet block I vowed I would not be using the facilities, it was old, shabby and not very nice at all, and there were polystyrene tiles missing from the ceiling. This needs a complete refurb. There was another block next door which was better, still not up to a good standard however everyone was using it , obviously, and in a morning there were queues out of the door. Just not enough facilities for the size of the site. The onsite shop was good with very helpful and friendly staff. The onsite bar was ok, however this was very tired and in need of a refurb also. The staff were again very friendly and helpful. The location was ok, you could walk or get a bus into Weymouth. We won't be visiting this site again, just not for us. Don't know why it is associated with the Caravan and Motorhome club as not up to their usual standard.
