As previous review questions, I’m not sure why this site is affiliated to the C&MC. It’s a big site and I’d say pitches are jammed in. Better site for those in tents or caravans who have cars to explore this area of Dorset, virtually nothing (nice) within walking distance if, like us, you are in a campervan/Motorhome without other transport. Great access to South West Coast path but head west rather than east. Facilities are ok (Stable field), shop with good selection of camping equipment and some food. They have started having fresh bread etc. delivered to order which is a good touch. WiFi ok but slow, very poor or non existent TV reception. We had booked for 8 nights, left after 3 so that was a waste of money as hadn’t booked cancellation insurance, but the thought of being here any longer was too depressing. 1st bad site we have stayed at which isn’t bad in 8 years, disappointed though that we had assumed the usual C&CM standard, WRONG!!
