Lovely site with a brilliant location right next to the beach. Friendly and helpful wardens. Easy access to site and pitch. Well looked after facilities, not overly busy and plenty of hot water. Busy site with lots of turnover as on NC500 route but still extremely quiet and peaceful. Lovely walks along the beach and lots of sightseeing. Other beaches and harbours to discover if driving a little further afield...We visited Sandside Bay at Raey, there's a beach, small harbour, toilet facilities. Grandkids loved exploring the rock pools at Portskerra harbour at Melvich. Weather was certainly varied during our stay with each day different, changing between sunny, windy, drizzle to thunder storm but then it is the highlands after all :-) We stayed 8 nights and loved every minute of it.
