Scottish tour - part 4

We stayed here for 4 nights in mid May. Access to the beautiful beach could not have been easier, and it was such a lovely place to be (despite the chill of the northerly wind during our stay). There are some very nice walks along the beach and in the wooded area just inland of the site. The cycle ride up to Dunnet Head is well worth doing, but was hard work into the headwind. However, downhill and a tale wind made the journey back to the site a dream. The Flagstone Trail in Castletown is also worth incorporating into a beach walk. The wardens were also very friendly and helpful.
