This is a fantastic site with great views of the bay and easy access to the site. It is a great area to visit and whilst we only had a short break we managed to take the ferry from John O Groats to Orkney on the organised trip. Whilst expensive this was very worth it and the driver (Stewart) was so knowlegable. I would also strongly recommend a visit to Dunnet Head for the amazing views.
Whilst the wardens were on holiday the relief wardens were excellent.
We will certainly make a return visit
