On our way to the Orkney Isles

This was part of an emotional tour from Cornwall to the Orkney Isles and Blyth (England) - my father's service during the war and our evacuation location from London. A lovely site, well kept & beyond the Caravan Club minimum standard, you could even pick herbs from the baskets outside the reception. An added bonus was the sun shined having been in the clouds coming up the west side of Scotland. Well recommended. Recommend a visit to Castle of Mey. John o' Groats was very commercialised as expected. A visit to Dunnet Head is also recommended as the most northern part of the UK mainland.
