Good for visiting John O' Groats & Dunnet Head
Site nicely situated backing onto beach. Grass pitches. Reception closed on arrival with limited opening times - not sure why? So your left to pitch up & book in when open. Toilet block cramped. Walked along beach nice in most parts but some parts covered in a crusty topped layer purple underneath carpet of something?. Rather a smelly walk into Dunnet village past what must be an open drain? Worth visiting John O' Groats & Dunnet Head with its lighthouse. Nice views of The Orkneys.
