Spent 10 days on this wonderful site enjoying the sunshine, views from our pitch, wildlife, the nearby gin distillery, the beach, the reserve wardens, the full time wardens....I could go on. This was possibly the most I have enjoyed a long stay on any caravan site and really did not want to leave. This despite arriving to 50mph+ winds and being correctly advised not to put the awning up, then looking out at what appeared to be a beautiful sunny day only to have to hold onto the door every time we opened it. Then the weather settled to a beautiful 20+ Celsius whilst the rest of the UK sweltered in the 30's and it was just wonderful. Lots to see and do in some of the remotest parts of Scotland. Toilet block could benefit from an update and a barrier system would have made us feel a little more secure, as well as taking a lot of pressure of the site wardens. The relief wardens were simply wonderful but then again so are the full time wardens. A real credit to the club in every way, all four of them. Thanks for a great holiday!
