Second time we have made the long haul for Dunnet (650 miles each way) and was really worth it. The beach and wildlife and sunsets are really special. The site is very well kept by excellent wardens this year who work tirelessly to keep everything in order. They have to deal with a constant flow of all and sundry (not just CC members) turning up and wanting to stay - even an elderly Spanish coupe who were sleeping in their car when we were there ! I wish I could bottle the fresh air and breathe it for a year until we come again !
