Dunnet with a beach to die for

This is our second visit to Dunnet Bay the last being in May 2018. Arrived and were met by the temp site wardens as the resident wardens were taking a well earned break, and throughout the 14 day stay I can understand why they would need a break. On their return a few days after we arrived Mel & Bev the resident wardens returned. Over the 14days the site was very busy with the site being full every day. The majority of visitors to the site arrive during the allotted time period but there are a few who arrive whenever they like. Come on Caravan Club having two wardens on this site is not enough. It is for this reason at the end of the day that the gates are closed and a "site full" notice is erected after all the people who run this site for our benefit and enjoyment are entitled to their off duty period. Both did a great job to keep the site clean and tidy and I take my hat off to both of them for the time and effort they put into the job of being wardens I don't think I could do it and keep my cool at the same time. Members who visit the sight must take advantage of a short boat trip from John O Groats to The Orkney isles the sites and views are amazing. We both look forward to another visit in the future
