We only stayed for one night at Dunnet Bay and I'm glad it wasn't too much longer if I'm being honest. The site is situated near the beach but has a busy A road running behind it, we had a pitch adjacent to the A road and it obviously wasn't particularly quiet. When we booked with the site we were told that we had to arrive before 6pm, I've never had this before on any site but we did arrive by 5.30 and were met by a less than cheery warden in reception, perhaps it had been a hard day. As stated we only stayed overnight and on leaving we discovered that the onsite facilities were being cleaned 15 mins before the stated time, I'm not usually that bothered about things like that but it was just another reason to not be impressed, I'm sure there are lots of happy customers but for me I'll give this one a miss next time.
