We had two marvellous weeks here. It won't suit everyone because of it's remote location but that is more than compensated for of you like peace and quiet. Situated beside a beach which is nearly two miles long,the site is ideal for walking for people and dogs. Nearby Thurso isn't  big but has a Tesco and Lidl and you can get a ferry from there to Orkney. A boat also goes from John O'Groats for day trips. The site is well laid out and Phil and Janet who look after it so look after the user's. The toilets etc are immaculate and they are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
