Fabulous Drumaheglis fun
We stayed here in March for three nights with three small children aged 4,6 and 9. We were given a lovely welcome from the warden who was very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. Huge paved pitches with waste and water on every pitch, making it a hassle free stay. The washblock was brand new with lovely big family shower rooms which were free and did not require a key or deposit. The children's play park was spotless with lots of fun apparatus. While here we visited The Giants Causeway and Portstewart/Portrush and some fabulous north coast beaches all less than half an hour away. Our favourite campsite to date has been Chattsworth in Derbyshire but Drumaheglis is now a close rival! There is a Lidl and Tesco a short drive away in Ballymoney. Picnic benches by the river were a lovely extra and a great dog walk. We stayed on c08 which was close to the cafe and possible to view the playground from. Personally I would steer away from c01 to c04 as these look directly into the cafe. A great find although I am tempted to keep it a secret!
