This site is one of the best we have stayed in. The pitches are flat, wide and spacious, with large gaps between each pitch. As we were staying 2 weeks we had been allocated a seasonal pitch so we were plumbed in with water and waste which was an unexpected bonus. The trees around the site are full of birds and wildlife. All of the wardens were exceptionally helpful and friendly with lots of advice regarding visitor attractions and car parking. The dog walk is great, all around the perimeter of the site with lots of woods and interesting smell to investigate. The site is very quiet all week but at the weekend it comes to life with people on the river and around the site BBQ'ing. The slipway café serves wonderful breakfasts and lunches and homemade scones to die for. It is very near to the causeway coast which is stunning, plus all the attractions such as Giants Causeway and Carrick Rope Bridge, Ballymoney itself is well worth a visit especially the town trail. Also several supermarkets nearby. All in all we couldn't fault this site and would definitely recommend it
