This is a site that we found quite unique in the way the wardens had developed it. The wild flower areas which comprise much of the site have flourished without making it at all untidy. The scene in the late evenings with the sun going down and lighting up the meadows was captivating. The more tranquil location with all the scenery, wildlife and easy proximity to the coast make it a very worthwhile destination for those who appreciate it. Despite being on the west side of the lakes it is easy to access being a short distance from the A road but far enough for it to be totally peaceful. It’s worth a visit for the site alone.
