Ideal for caravanners
Very peaceful site but probably more suited to caravanners than motorhomers as there are only a couple of available walks which don't require road access. Worth making the trip to Loweswater for the circular walk along one side. Although peaceful, the site is very open with 3 rows of outfits facing one another.
Ennerdale Craft Brewery Tap is excellent, dog friendly, and great beer and food. Again, you will need to drive to reach it, there are no pubs in easy walking distance.
