Well run and managed by a hard working site team.We visited just as children returning to school,so I can guess even more peaceful.Site was very well attended,with only the occasional empty pitch. Hythe town a couple of miles away is worth a visit,especially if the weather is favourable and then you can visit the beach areas. Rye is amazing,even having to top up the car parking,with lovely old buildings,town maps are available from the library and some pubs,it is a hand drawn map,but covers all worth seeing and also adds the the atmosphere of the place. Port Lympne park is directly opposite the site,on the hill in the distance,and some animals visable,but we didn't visit this time.
