Decided to have a couple of nights away. Its a site only an hour away from us and enables us to cycle as lovely and flat and pretty. Hythe is a lovely town and cycling to Folkstone along the military canal is lovely. Stayed here last year and after reading the reviews was slightly concerned of some recent reviews. Fear not......we were just as happy as we were last year when we stayed. It is a very peaceful quite site in the country. We choose the same pitch as last year as we have the evening sunsets to sit outside with. PLenty of space and you are not close to your neighbours like some sites we have been on in the past. The rubbish situation as people have mentioned has changed but for the better really saving tons of plastic. You do need a car or a bike to get anywhere unless you are there for a walking break. If you are thinking of going and are put off by the reviews please ignore them like we did, book it and go with an open mind and enjoy the peace and quite and beautiful contryside and views. We only stayed 2 nights but had a wonderful time, cycled 45 miles and loved every minute of it. Enjoy if you go.
