Having visited this site many times over our years of caravanning I can only say I feel it has declined in its standards. I feel this is partly due to the club and its maintenance programme as well as the move to more environmental compliances. The new system of a centralised waste point is OK but while there these large wheelie bins were smelling and I would suggest not very hygienic. During our recent stay we wanted to use the washing machines but found they were out of order something we only noted on our arrival despite these being shown as available on the site facilities page,also reading a previous review while onsite it appears these machines have been out of service for sometime. Shower head in the mobility facility was broken which we reported. I would have thought this would be picked up during cleaning. The footpath leading into the facilities block is still very uneven with 2 manhole covers protruding,something we mentioned the year before last year but still no action taken. Potholes are significant at the entrance as you are on site. Overall I feel this site needs an update particularly when you see the money club that being is investing in other sites.
