We have just got back from 2 weeks at Daleacres it is still a favourite of ours,but was a bit disappointed with our pitch it was overgrown and full of weeds and trying to peg down an awning in the hard standing was a complete nightmare bent all our pegs it’s solid concrete. Showers need a clean mid to late afternoon as by the evening they were not so clean and quite slippery. Site was busy and 1 washing machine was not adequate to facilitate the amount of outfits on the site. It also felt quite crammed in the pitches especially on grass and no way was or did it feel like a 6m rule between pitches. Also children out running around or on bikes late after dark is an accident waiting to happen,no wardens checking or walking around sometimes the stopped the children and told the, to go the right way around the site but this was daylight hours.The new bin system I feel works really well. Overall we loved our stay and will continue to stay here as we love the area so very much. Just needs a general spruce up!!!! The wardens dogs were a bit noisy as well barking a lot during the day which was a bit of a nuisance as we would probably get told if it was our dog…So come on Daleacres Spruce yourself up again ….. we still Love it there and always will.
