Where are the wardens?

We've been coming here for 25 years but haven't been for 2 years. The wardens were polite and friendly but otherwise anonymous. Don't get me wrong, no one likes a warden that is in your face, treats the site like it is his or her own property and attends the grass like it's a bowling green or cricket square and woe betide anyone who dares to walk on it, but the length of the grass here is rediculous. The bins need cleaning more frequently and I've been on a great many sites where the toilets are cleaned equally as meticulously as they are at Hythe without having to close them for a) 2 hours and b) necessitate closing the office for the same period of time plus another half an hour. We're gong to several other sites this year so presumably the grass length, closures etc will be similar for similar sized sites, with the same amount of wardens, we will see. The site itself was as peaceful and quiet as always, lovely walks from it and nearby as well as plenty of other attractions for all age ranges. We will come back as it is still one of our favourite sites within an hour of home and we love the area but will be looking at alternatives in the area both within and outside of the club.
