What a lovely location. The site was very busy and as we wanted a hard standing pitch ended up with one next to the waste bins and water, not ideal as people are not always respectful of what time they use these. The showers and toilets were kept clean and even though it was busy we managed to get showers. The site is close to Hythe and a national cycle route, great news for us being motorhomes. We cycled into Hythe to Sainsburys supermarket, then rode back both ways along the military canal passing Port Lympne wildlife park and castle. We only saw antelopes but apparently you can often see giraffes and other large animals. We also cycled to Dymchurch, the lanes around the site are relatively quiet, we did have to ride the last part on the main road, not good. There is a very good pub less than a mile from the site, good food and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our stay here and will return.
