Daleacres needs an UPGRADE
Having spent 5 days at Daleacres, we were surprised to find that even though Yurts and a camping field has been added, there are no extra toilets and showers to accommodate the extra numbers using the facilities.
The ladies loos were constantly blocked by toilet paper because they needed to be operated several times to flush! Children would have been unable to flush the toilets. There were queues for the showers and the toilets were reduced to THREE working on several mornings. It is a poor example to show to the many visitors from abroad, especially as it is close to the ferry ports.
The site is well spaced out and it is a superb area for cycling along the quiet traffic free lanes. The route along the Royal Military Canal is excellent for cycling into Hythe.
The wardens are very helpful and hardworking. Thanks for a lovely stay in spite of the conditions in the ladies loos!
