We arrived at the site in our motorhome on the Monday before the bank holiday weekend as we prefer to visit the sites during weekdays now that we are able to do so rather that when they are really busy and left on Friday morning. The site was very well kept with spacious pitches, the wardens were friendly and although we tend to use our own facilities we took at look at the toilets, showers etc and they were spotless. We spent 4 days in lovely weather visiting the area including a walk of approximately 5 miles along part of the royal military canal into Hythe and stopped of at the cafe adjacent the canal before our return walk and also visited the Rye harbour nature reserve and spent a relaxing hour or so sitting on the beach just watching the sea. All in all a relaxing few days and I would recommend the site. We will very likely re-visit.
