This is a really peaceful site in the middle of farmland, yet only a few miles from the sea. The facilities are some of the best we have sampled on CC sites. If you have bikes, there is a very easy, level and almost traffic free ride to Dymchurch - for the beach or the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway - which took us oldies just 30 minutes to cover about 4.5 miles. The railway is well worth a visit - you can easily spend all day travelling up and down between Hythe and Dungeness, stopping of at New Romney to see the excellent museum/model railway.
