Great site

This is a great site with such lovely and hard working wardens They are all very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them . We've been trying to book in there for about four years now and always told caravan was to big but these kind wardens let us book and it was well worth the wait . Will definitely be returning for our holiday next year .

shock horror

no a total no go but beware! over the bank holiday this is a very busy site full of young boisterous youths. up until being kept awake by these youths running and shouting after dark . the other issue i personally had was whilst using the toilet block somebody flashed their camera phone under the toilet door and snapped away , this i reported to the site office and although the lady warden was sympathetic i expected some sort of follow up .... nothing ... with hind site i should have gone to the police ..but i do think this is the way the club is going, i will think very seriously come membership renewal

Poor access to site and unhelpful

We stayed here following ferry from France. The access road are poor to the site very narrow and leaving was very difficult with cars speeding down the hill on a very narrow road making it difficult to climb the hill. Bear this in mind when booking. The reception was closed most of the time. The toilets and showers were closed from 10am to 1.30pm and there is only 1 shower block serving the whole site, therefore on departure day we couldn't shower once packed up as depure time is 12pm. The site does not appear to be solely for caravan and motorhome club users.

Amazing stay

We were recommended to stay at Daleacres when we were at Sutton on Sea last summer. I have an electric tricycle and needed routes that were suitable. Daleacres didn’t disappoint, there were a variety of routes mainly off road in both directions. Hythe then Folkestone one way and Dymchurch and New Romney the other. We were blessed with lovely weather, the site was spacious and well cared for with a lovely clean toilet block. The wardens were very friendly and helpful always happy to stop and chat. The only downside was the 3/4 of a mile from the pub to the site which is quite narrow in places with a deep camber on either side which if you had to really avoid a tractor or van would result in a wrecked wheel / motor mover. We will return next year as we had a lovely time.

Good location

Stayed on a nice flat, large service pitch with excellent TV signal and WiFi. Good facilities block and great wardens. Mixture of all the pitch types on site and hurts although those were largely empty. Lots of places to visit in the area including Hythe,Dymchurch,Dungeness,Rye etc. Nothing to fault and spoke to a lot of returning members who seem to either live within an hour of the site or come from further afield and stay for several weeks. Also quite a few seasonal pitches and people using the ferries.

Pristine site

Second time of visiting Daleacres and its a great site. The site managers couldn't have been any more welcoming, and really helpful with a random issue we had. Some lovely planting has been added and the site is very clean and well kept. Great dog field in one corner, and large football field plus small play area and games room. It's a nice smallish size and good for cycling from site. There are camping pitches and yurts on site - there were a lot of children running around and playing late the first night but the site managers soon sorted it out. Hythe town is nice, others nearby not so pretty however we stopped in Rye on the way home which is a stunning old town and well worth a visit. Bike hire is available from Daleacres, just make sure you've enabled bluetooth permission for the app itself, in addition to switching it on on your phone!

A Returnee

Back again after a few years enforced absence. The site remains really nice and outside of half term is a pleasurable place to stay. Its clean and faultless in terms of the site itself. Wardens blow a bit hot and cold, at times its like being told off by the Headmistress/Headmaster for minor infractions or misunderstandings....Customer service training for many of the wardens on club sites should be a must....if they dont like dealing with the public, then why apply for this type of job? Just saying things as I see it and not picking on anyone in particular.
