One of the best C.C. sites

We visit this site every year when we come over from N.Ireland because it's a great place to stay for a relaxing week or more. It's well run and everybody seems friendly and sociable, so you can usually have a chat with somebody. The only small gripe I had this year is that many of the rubbish bins have disappeared from their usual spots, which means a longer walk to a bin, and being dis-abled is a bit annoying.

Soggy but good

Arrived after a huge storm so the ground was very soft. All hard standings full so we took up the offer of overnighting our motorhome on the late arrivals area as did not want to get stuck or make a mess of a grass pitch. Wardens extremely helpful and facilities up to usual CC standard

Our recent stay

We spent 6 nights from 17th June this was our 1st stop on our 6 week tour of the south coast. The site was very spacious and good size pitches. The site was very clean it was nice to smell the rose scents as you walked down the path to the toilet block the warden's seemed very friendly along with other caravaners. Certainly would go back ideal stop over for ferry to France.Good size child areas nice field to play football etc on.The only thing I would say is the road from the pub to the site by the industrial site you have to be careful due to the very large potholes and also exiting the site as the locals do travel fast.We found the food very good at the Botolphs Bridge Inn very reasonable the staff and locals were very friendly.

First trip

This was our first trip in our camper van the site was clean and staff were very friendly play area was only suited to older children we had a two year old who was to small for the facilities there could have done with a site shop as the shops are a distance away and the roads had no walkways we enjoyed our stay there and would return to the site

Best site of the year (so far)

This is the 4th Camping Club site we have been to this year, and it comes out top of the list. Excellent facilities, each pitch is a good size, with water, electricity and rubbish bins close by. We found the staff very helpful and welcoming, it is just a shame that a number of campers are unable to follow the 5mph speed limit and dog owners do not always clear up after their pets. (We ended up with dog mess on our crocs after walking across the field to the shower block.)

Our first time away in our camper

Daleacres is a lovely site, off the beaten track but still in walking distance to the local pub. We were left to our own devices and everything was easy to find. Toilets were clean but could've done with more toilet roll as quite a few had run out. Friendly staff and other campers made us feel welcome and we left feeling like we'd had a proper holiday after just one night :)

Perfect for all ages

This has been the second time we have stayed here. We can not fault anything about it. From cleanliness to location. A great place if you like walks, seaside location and outside attractions for the children.....Just a note to be aware of, that although our paperwork said the booking in time was 12.00 you cannot book in till 1pm. The reception area is closed between 12pm and 1pm.

Peaceful site within easy reach of many attractions

Having stayed at this site many times before it was pleasing to return to find the high standards have been kept. Excellent dog walk which if fully enclosed. Plenty to do and see in the area. Not short of good places to sample the local catch of the day.
