Had 5 gloriously sunny days at Daleacres. The site was up to the usual standard. Toilet blocked closed from 10:30 for cleaning which proved a bit to early for our teenagers. The water supply was a considerable distance from our pitch, the shop did not sell pipe extentions, luckily we were able to borrow one. Lots of people riding bikes around the site, which is fine but not all observing the one way system and very few wearing head protection. Our car was nearly hit by one child who was cycling along looking over his shoulder and had not seen us stop to reverse onto our pitch. It was only a neighbour shouting at him that prevented him hitting us, and for the parents of the child riding around the site with a "motorbike sound sumulator" attached to his bike - WHY did you think that was a good idea ? Plenty to do in the surrounding area and we will visit again soon.
