IDEAL FOR VISITING CENTRAL LONDON ATTRACTIONS
Stayed for a week at Crystal Palace club site, took a wrong turn as we arrived into central London so ended up driving through the centre of town nice view of harrods, not to mention the congestion charge I'll receive through the post so be aware. We found the easiest way to this site from the north is to cross at Kew bridge and follow the south circular road towards the site. The site itself was run by some very helpful and friendly wardens we phoned through to the site as we were going to late as we we're stuck in traffic ( 2 hours to do 8 miles ) they told us it was no problem and to call them when we arrived. Our pitch was a good size and fairly close to the shower block which although was a bit dated provided us with hot showers and good facilities, the site was very quiet in the evening and as mentioned before had great links to the city by using the number 3 bus which was a short walk from the site and ran about every 10 minutes the journey itself was about an hour in the day and around one hour 15 in the evening. We did walk into Crystal Palace which took us around 10 minutes not a great deal there, we didn't have time to visit the park next door so carnt comment on that, overall a nice site to stay run by nice wardens will probably visit again to see the sites we couldn't fit in.
