We’ve stayed here many times and it’s a great site in a fabulous location, but for how much longer? I understand that the lease expires later this year and it is likely to disappear under a housing development. In some ways the site is starting to look a bit tired but that’s understandable given there is no incentive to invest in a place with no future. The loss of this site will be a HUGE loss. I was very disappointed to see that the Grape & Grain pub just up the road in Crystal Palace has closed. We always looked forward to a few pints of proper beer in a real pub when we visited. The quiz and live music nights were always a bonus.
