Dear fellow members, My wife and I have just had a six day holiday on the worst week of weather this winter. Despite massive snow storms and sub zero temperatures the wardens kept the roads open , repaired the burst pipes promptly , thawed out the frozen taps in the morning and kept the toilet floors clean despite the salt and grit that was inevitably traipsed in. The showers were lovely and hot and a real warmer up after a cold day in London. It is an unmitigated tragedy that this site is to close, it means that London will no longer have a well positioned site with great and inexpensive transport links to the centre, and shows how little the site owners regard the international importance of this site. I suspect they are in for a fast buck with a property developer. From a personal point of view when my daughter was seriously ill in nearby Kings College Hospital a few years it was a true saver of our sanity . If you truly love this site write to Bromley Council and the Mayor of London and see if the lease could be renewed.
