What a pleasant surprise.

What a pleasant surprise this site was,I had only booked it for a couple of nights as an overnight stop on way home, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet, the ambience,so much we stayed on further. We had pitched on a grass pitch, easy wide reverse from site roads, such a difference from normal club sites, where reversing can be tight. The strange thing is,this is more like a New Forest site than you get from this Club's two in the New Forest, with pitches in wooded glades. The Frampton Arms is a 5 minute walk ,from a side gate, for an evening drink, food is available but we didn't eat there. Beaches are nearby, especially the touristy Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, but you must make a day of it as car parking is pricey. Wareham is nearby for shopping, but as we only had an hour or so,we didn't really walk around it. Others have said about the train tooting as they cross the road, but it is very minor for the advantages of this site.
