Lovely site
We spent August Bank Holiday here and it's one of the loveliest sites we've been to: the last couple of sites we visited had a bit of a "camping in a car park" feel to them, but none of that here - spots well spaced out and near the trees, deer appearing several times a day to nibble on the grass, spotless facilities, we will definitely come here again.
We were in the corner of the site closest to the railway line and level crossing, and although we were aware of train noises they were never intrusive. The site guide says TV reception is not so good but it was fine for us (although we used the aerial plug-in on the bollard most of the time but I wanted to experiment and see how well our caravan aerial worked!).
Thanks to the staff for a fantastic site with all the facilities we wanted, but still with a back-to-nature feel to it.
