Just perfect
I love the way that there are lots of small areas to pitch in so that even when it’s busy you don’t feel cramped. Lots of wildlife around and so dark at night the stars are out in force. The compost toilets are fine and don’t smell. The railway station gives you plenty of opportunities to explore the area and beyond. The pub outside the entrance does reasonable meals. Showers hot and never had to wait. Just loved it here.
The only possible downside, but it didn’t worry me, was the hooting of the train horns on the approach to the level crossing. There is limited access to a mobile signal on the internet so get your train times while you are off site.
