Good for families

Wonderful site, great wardens.

We spent a week here in May/June and did not want to leave. Intimate bays set in glorious woodland. Deer grazing right up to the camper, rhododendrons in full bloom and birdsong all day long. Far from being a problem, the composting toilets were an interesting novelty. Situated close to the beautiful village of Moreton with its Whistler etched windows and the grave of Lawrence of Arabia, even closer is the train station with regular trains to anywhere from seaside Weymouth (8 mins) to London. There is a local supermarket and pub/restaurant. As if such a great location and local amenities weren't enough, we found the wardens to be exceptionally welcoming and tireless in their efforts to maintain the high standards of the caravan club. What a gem. A holiday to remember.
