wonderful holiday

We have just returned from a 10 stay here and had a wonderful time until the end of the holiday, but more of that later... Its an interesting site with the pitches set in small areas, some can be shaded but just take your time choosing to ensure morning/evening sun. our choice gave us afternoon sun but was shaded by 6ish. We had pitch 70 which backed onto the quarry and did not find the noise intrusive however we spent the daytime mainly off the site. Toilets and showers are dated but very clean, the composting toilet is rather disconcerting initially though! I must admit though having toilets and showers separate is strange. We tended to use our own facilities but that was our choice. The weather was glorious whilst we were there and we took advantage of visiting many of the picturesque bays and coves in the area. Lulworth cove and Durdle Door being our favourite. To return to the penultimate day, unfortunately my other half sustained a nasty fall which resulted in him needing hospital attention and unable to weight bear. I had several offers and actual assistance from our neighbours to assist with packing up, thank you! We were also offered assistance by the warden, who even ensured we were able to return home and offered to tow us if it had been his day off! Definitely beyond the call of duty. We would definitely like to return to this site.
