We stayed here for 5 nights. The site is laid out very differently to most sites , and we found this quite nice. The different areas have names. We stayed in 'The Dell' handy for toilets and showers. Our pitch was near the railway line but this didn't bother us that much as we were out and about more time than on site. The toilet and showers are scrupulously clean and even though the toilets are sitting on top of a pile of ....you know what.... there was no smell what so ever. There should be more of these composting toilets used. The showers were also very clean and the water pressure very good. There is a nice pub, within walking distance via a woodland path and secure gate, for good food and ale. The site is situated well for plenty of places to visit for all types of tastes. The Wardens and the assistant wardens were very friendly and always had time to speak to you and were also very helpful with local info. Will visit again.....lovely site, well maintained and cared for.
