Absolutely stunning location set in beautiful woodland and lots of wildlife activity. We found the site extremely peaceful and, to be honest, we didnt really notice the trains despite pitching next to the railway lines. Yes, they do sound the horns for the crossing but I guess the annoyance factor is down to the perception of the individual. It didn't bother us! Perfectly located for many local attractions and Dorchvegas (Dorchester) Thomas Hardy geeks will love the area as Max Gate is just down the road. Monkey World and Bovington museum right on the doorstep. Showers and toilets are separate due to the composting style loos but no hardship. Camp staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
