LOVELY WOODLAND SITE, RECOMMENDED

This is a lovely site beautifully laid out with grass and hardstandings. Excellent dog walk on site. Mhome service point has only one drain on the nearside, Offside unloaders have to turn around. Also it is near the exit on a one-way system so you have to go out and back in to the site. Who thought that was a god idea, HQ? Daft. This is not a good site for walkers because there are very few footpaths anywhere near the site. OK if you don't mind driving to a walk but walking off the site is not so good. Wherever you go you have to walk out on to a busy road. Even going to the pub means crossing the busy road twice! Walk to Moreton to the tea-shop and the church, mainly along country roads is worth the walk,. Mobile phone reception is poor to non-existent. Only a wifi Hotspot near reception. However knowing the limitations we will be back. (Only gave family review one start because we have no family so cannot really comment).

Motorhome service point is an old one we agree but this site is an old site and there were very few motorhomes in the early days also did not have showers or toilet blocks just service points only, also not owned by the club hence no improvements.

Vodafone is usually the best signal on this site as you say other providers not good.

We have stayed for many years but not have been back for 5 years now.
