Lovely site but facilities quite poor

This is a very pretty wooded site with nice secluded pitches, albeit that some are pretty squeezed in. It's in a good location too, close to many local attractions in this lovely part of Dorset. The wardens were very friendly and hard working, always available. Our only criticisms are the poor facilities - there are very few showers and they are in desperate need of upgrading, with poor water pressure. The composting toilets are fine, but not enough for a site this size. Each morning there was usually a queue for the ladies' showers which was also exacerbated by the cleaning times being far too early - both showers and toilets on our bit of the site both closed at 10am (for up to an hour) which is peak time for many people on holiday. Other blocks apparently closed later but they were uncomfortably far away through a maze of wooded pathways, so not a practical alternative. Please think about changing the cleaning schedule in light of how few toilets and showers there are! Just also to note that there is virtually no mobile phone signal for miles around so the only choice for internet would be to use the pay version.
