Lovely staff. Very helpful and worked hard to make site look attractive and clean. Site is very shady and finding a sunny pitch is not easy as so many seasonal pitches have grabbed the best spot. Frustrating. Toilets are fine for adults but children need careful supervision. Fans to operate the filter system run constantly and are noticeable at night if you pitch near the toilets. Noise from adjacent quarry starts at 7.30 a.m and continues till 5p.m. Lorries reversing continually beep. Trains sound their horn as they pass the level crossing close by. They are loud but thankfully not through the night. Site has good location for visits to popular tourist attractions.
