Crossways Club Campsite is an imaginatively landscaped destination set in the midst of 35 acres of lush woodland - ideal when touring in Dorset. Pitching is available in open groves, all of which are linked by a scenic snaking road. This makes for easy access around the campsite, from the charmingly named Iron Horse Meadows to Poachers Paradise. If you want to leave the car behind for an excursion or if you're simply a rail enthusiast, the railway is a five minute walk away.
There is a pleasant pub adjacent to Crossways Club Campsite, serving good food. The campsite is within convenient reach of a wealth of interesting attractions at the nearby town of Weymouth. Also close by is the harbour town of Poole, with its blue flag beaches and Lighthouse Arts Centre, and a short drive from the site brings you to the historic market town of Dorchester. From its glorious beach to the charming shops and wide selection of restaurants, there is something memorable to be had for everyone in the family.
Moreton railway station is just a 7 minute walk from Crossways Club Campsite, with services to nearby Dorchester, Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth.
This site has eco-friendly toilets. Shower facilities are located in separate blocks.

Upon arrival, everything was already prepared – the staff immediately knew who I was, how many people were traveling with me, and the length of our stay. We had the most wonderful time at this lovely site. It was hot but the trees gave us some well needed shade. We loved the deer roaming around our little caravan. Our Chihuahua was very interested and enjoyed the dog walk. Special thanks to the wardens, who made us feel very welcome. We... Show more

Just returned from a week stay here. Lovely as always. We have been coming here for more than 10 years and it’s not really changed. We always chose a woodland pitch and it’s away from the train line. This is sometimes a bit boring for the children as the pitches... Show more

This site is in a great location. The pitches are in a series of clearings in what is basically a forest. However there is virtually no internet access on most of the site. If you have a dog or dogs, there is no free running facility for them. This is... Show more

Been here before - happy to come back as it’s so close to the climbing on Portland. I think it’s one of the nicest site I’ve been to in terms of layout - the levels and areas in amongst the woods & deer. Some sites are more like a well-manicured... Show more

We booked this site because of the railway station and it's links to the coast. What a lovely find... It's back to nature, relaxing and unique. The staff are more than welcoming, so cheerful and friendly and very obliging. Not your usual regimented site, but gives a feeling of freedom... Show more
