Stayed at Coniston Coppice site 3 times now just got back its Aug Bank Holiday weekend the site was very busy to be expected and as its scholl holidays kids were abundant which wasn't too bad however the Coniston hall site below the Coppice had Hundreds of campers and they were very noisy into the earlier hours of the morning the tents were five abreast some with camper vans must be illegal.. Needless to say couldn't get much sleep!!! The area is absolutely amazing with lots of walking and cycling the Coppice site is well located for the area shame about the nieghbers best to come when the kids are back at school and not at Bank Holidays which is a real shame
