Lovely site with groups of pitches located in little forest clearings. Wild kept and not immaculate like some sites but this totally adds to the charm. We had a very friendly little robin visit pitch 31 every day which was wonderful. Facilities very clean apart from being spoilt but the lazy few who cant even be bothered to throw their empty shampoo bottles away or clear their halr up from round the sinks. :(. Laziness got noticably worse come the bank holiday with people leaving massive wastemaster and aquaroll boxes and old bbq’s by the waste. I mean come on people… take it home. So i thank the wonderful staff who work tirelessly to keep this wonderful site wonderful. The pizza van was also pretty handy after a long day walking the fells!
