Fab location but site needs updating!
My granddaughter and I stayed here for 5 nights, the site is mainly in the woods which we liked, some pitches were nicely tucked into small areas, our pitch was quiet and nicely level.
After setting up I tried to tune the TV and soon realised I needed a cable which I didn't have, ok, no TV for the first night we'll sort that out tomorrow, so I then tried to connect to the site WiFi (I have a yearly subscription) ziltch! nothing, ok I'll try later, nothing over the entire time!!!
The next day we went off sightseeing and returned at 5.30 pm before the reception closed at 6.00 pm (opening times are posted outside reception) to buy the TV cable required and enquire why there was no WiFi, only to find it closed. I phoned the number and was told that they had closed and to come back tomorrow. ok 2nd night no TV or WiFi!
Third day, went to the reception and spoke to a very helpful lady who said she would have to check if the TV cable socket was working in my bollard! ok, we'll go out for the day and check back before 5.30!!! got back only to be told that it didn't work but the one next pitch did. Ha, problem solved, no! there was another occupied pitch between me and the new bollard and the 25m cable won't go around it!! so I had to ask the very nice couple on that pitch if I could cross the front of their pitch with my cable.
Well, at least we had TV albeit after dark when the cable wouldn't be a trip hazard!!
Would I go back? no, the approach roads are a nightmare with a caravan! and keeping a 13yo happy without WiFi is not easy. lol.
