Very enjoyable week in half term April 2017. Area absolutely stunning (and weather almost entirely rainless) although I could imagine it being pretty blocked up in July/August.Facilities up to usual CC high standards and very helpful wardens. When the site is busy however alot of the available pitches are too small & unusable for a medium sized van (when putting the back corner to the peg). Given that you can arrive on site at 10AM but leavers can stay until 12 mid day it may be best to get there as early as possible. It says in the details to take levelling blocks with you & they are not wrong-some pitches need two large blocks of stone to achieve a level van. However the scenery is amazing & the site tends to be popular with families in school holidays so does have a very friendly feel.
