Perfect woodland location
Despite the size of the site, there are several pockets on the site that make you feel that you are on a smaller site. Clean and plentiful facilities and friendly wardens.
Ideally located for the lake and Coniston village and ample walks from the site. The walk to Coniston and onto Tarn Hows is a must.
Plenty of places closeby to eat if you want a night off from cooking, particularly The Ship Inn which serves amazing home cooked food and The Black Bull, where the food is also good, but the prickly pear cider is a must!
