After reading other reviews we were worried this was not the site for us, how wrong we were. We had 10 peaceful and restful days. Even though we got to the site early the staff were happy to check us in (if only all sites were like this). You do need to walk around to find a good pitch as some are a lot better than others due to the ground not being level.The walk to Coniston is a must and quite easy. Our only gripe was a small motorhome which came in just before we left with two dogs that would run out barking every time we came back which upset our small dog. But that said it is a very good site with good staff
